Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Greetline AI reception service, operated as a division of IO IT Services Corporation, an Ontario corporation. By subscribing to the service, you agree to these terms. A separate service agreement may add or vary terms for your account.
The service
We provide an AI phone-reception service that answers, screens, and routes calls on your behalf, takes messages, and delivers call summaries and transcripts. The service supports your team — it is not a substitute for licensed advice.
No licensed advice
Our assistant does not provide insurance quotes, bind coverage, or give advice that requires a licence. Any request that calls for a licensed broker is transferred to your staff or captured as a message for follow-up. You remain responsible for all licensed activities and regulatory obligations of your brokerage.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate routing information (broker lines, hours, escalation rules).
- Ensure you are entitled to forward your calls to us and to have them handled as described.
- Handle the messages, summaries, and transfers we deliver to you in a timely way.
- Meet your own obligations to your clients, including under PIPEDA and any regulator.
Call recording & data
Calls may be recorded and transcribed to deliver the service, with disclosure to callers as described in our Privacy Policy. You instruct us to process call information on your behalf for that purpose. Data handling, subprocessors, and retention are described in the Privacy Policy and any data-processing addendum to your service agreement.
Fees & term
- Setup fees are one-time; subscription fees are billed monthly in advance.
- Fees are as listed at the time of purchase; applicable taxes may apply.
- Service is month-to-month unless your agreement states otherwise; see the Cancellation Policy.
Availability
We work to keep the service available around the clock and rely on third-party telephony and cloud providers to do so. We are not liable for interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of those providers or of your own telephone service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees paid for the service in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost business or missed calls arising from provider outages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date; continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance.
